The EC8500 from Apera Instruments is a compact and easy-to-use conductivity meter designed for precise measurements of conductivity (EC), TDS, salinity, and temperature. Ideal for field use, it is equipped with a silicone cover and an IP57 waterproof and dustproof rating, making it durable and reliable even in harsh environments.
The included 2301T-S conductivity electrode features our unique BPB (Brush-resistant Platinum Black) technology, providing high precision and a wide measuring range (0 – 200 mS/cm). With the integrated temperature sensor, automatic temperature compensation (ATC) is available for accurate results under varying conditions. The EC8500 comes with a GLP data management system and can store up to 500 memory groups. The data can be easily transferred to a PC or laptop via USB for analysis or real-time storage.
The large illuminated LCD displays conductivity and temperature, and the meter supports quick 1- to 3-point calibration for reliable results. The fold-out stand allows for easy indoor use, while the self-diagnosis function helps with troubleshooting.
