The PH850-HF from Apera Instruments is a durable and easy-to-use pH meter designed specifically for measuring pH, ORP (electrode sold separately, e.g., 301Pt-C), and temperature in highly acidic solutions, including hydrofluoric acid. This meter is ideal for precise and reliable measurements in applications involving strong acids and HF.
The included LabSen® 831 pH electrode is equipped with a special HF-resistant glass membrane, which is highly resistant to HF corrosion and significantly extends the service life of the electrode. The MP500 temperature sensor is included for temperature measurements. With the ability to handle HF-containing solutions, the PH850-HF ensures reliable results for up to 1000 measurements at 25°C with 1% HF concentration and a 1-minute measurement time.
The PH850-HF is protected by a rugged silicone cover, making it waterproof and dustproof (IP57) and suitable for field use in harsh environments. The fold-out stand makes it easy to use indoors, while the large illuminated LCD simultaneously displays pH, temperature, and additional measurement data. The meter also features quick 1- to 3-point calibration and a self-diagnosis function for troubleshooting.
