The LabSen® 231 pH electrode from Apera Instruments is engineered for precise pH measurement in waste water, emulsions, suspensions, and samples containing protein and sulfide. Manufactured with proprietary Swiss sensor technology, the LabSen® 231 is built for high-pressure environments and is ideal for measuring challenging samples like wastewater and effluents.

- Long-Life Reference System: Utilizes a glass tube with AgCl and a silver wire, preventing the reaction between AgCl and electrolyte with temperature changes. This design improves the stability and longevity of the electrode.
- Polymer Electrolyte: The direct contact between the polymer electrolyte and test samples ensures no clogging of the diaphragm structure. The electrode can withstand pressure up to 6 bar, making it perfect for suspensions and wastewater.
- Special Glass Membrane: The hemispherical glass membrane is highly resistant to general impacts (unlike fragile conventional glass bulb membranes) and supports high-temperature samples (up to 80°C).
- Swiss pH Measurement Technology: Designed using high-quality Swiss materials for precision and reliability.
- BNC Connector Compatibility: Works seamlessly with pH meters that use BNC connectors, including Apera Instruments PH850, PC850, PH8500, PC8500, PH700, PH910, PC910, PH950, PC950, PH800, PH800, PC800, PH820, and PC820.
- Temperature Compensation: A separate temperature sensor (e.g., Apera Instruments MP500) is required for automatic temperature compensation, or the temperature can be manually entered.
