PH850-SL pH Meter for Soils (Direct Measurement)

The PH850-SL from Apera Instruments is a compact and easy-to-use pH meter designed specifically for direct soil pH measurement. It is perfect for quickly determining pH, ORP (electrode sold separately, e.g., 301Pt-C), and temperature in the field.

Equipped with the LabSen® 553 pH electrode, this meter allows you to take fast and accurate soil pH readings. The electrode features a pointed and stable glass membrane with a solid polymer electrolyte, which makes it easy to insert into soil without causing diaphragm clogging or damage. The integrated temperature sensor provides automatic temperature compensation (ATC), ensuring precise results across varying temperatures.

The PH850-SL is protected by a rugged silicone cover, making it waterproof and dustproof (IP57) for reliable use in harsh field conditions. It includes a fold-out stand for convenient indoor operation and a large illuminated LCD that displays pH and temperature readings, along with additional measurement and calibration data. The meter also supports easy 1- to 3-point calibration and includes a self-diagnosis feature for troubleshooting.
