This Reagecon Density Standard Premium Range 1.2471 g/mL at 25°C is manufactured and tested in accordance with ASTM D1480-12 for testing of density or relative density (specific and API gravity). It is tested by Bingham Pycnometry and can be used as a calibration or control standard for density measurement by pycnometer, vibrational, or hydrometer (specific gravity) based techniques. The Test Method used by Reagecon for testing density standards using Bingham Pycnometers is accredited to ISO 17025 (A2LA Ref: 6739.03). The product is prepared gravimetrically on a weight/weight basis. Both solute and solvent are weighed on a balance calibrated by OIML traceable weights.
