Reagecon pH Electrode Storage Solution

Reagecon pH Electrode Storage Solution is a specially formulated and buffered solution containing 3M Potassium Chloride (KCl), with a special preservative, designed to optimise functionality, accuracy, responsiveness and life span of a pH electrode. Every pH electrode must be stored in such a solution, between readings or when not in use. A pH electrode is an extremely sensitive device and almost all pH errors are as a result of an electrode fault. Although the fault or failure may be predominantly due to the reference half cell, the sensing half cell must also be maintained correctly. The Reagecon Electrode Storage Solution is a multi faceted formulation that maintains both the sensing and reference systems in optimal condition, between readings or during storage. Both the sensing membrane and the reference diaphragm must always be immersed in this solution, rather than water, filling solution or pH buffer. Reagecon Electrode Storage Solution is suitable for use with all pH electrodes.
