Reagecon's Spectrophotometry Stray Light Inorganic Cut-off Filter - Sodium Nitrite (Ph. Eur) is formulated to give zero absorbance at 385 nm wavelength. This standard is used to indicate to the analyst that the instrument is measuring light omitted from a source, other than through the sample cuvette. This Spectrophotometry Standard is prepared gravimetrically on a weight/weight basis. Both solute and solvent are weighed on a balance calibrated by Reagecon engineers using OIML traceable weights.
