Reagecon Water Hardness 4M KCl Ionic Strength Adjuster Solution

The use of Reagecon's Water Hardness 4M Ionic Strength Adjuster (ISA) is necessary as an additive when using an Ion Selective Electrode (ISE) for the measurement of Water Hardness. The ISA is added to both the Ion Selective Electrode Calibration Solution (ISE) and the sample; so as to keep the ionic strength of both standard and test high; eliminate matrix effects and suppress or eliminate interfering ions. For use as an Ionic Strength Adjuster (ISA) when performing Water Hardness measurement by Ion Selective Electrode (ISE) Suppresses interfering ions; eliminates matrix; hysteresis and liquid junction potentials.
